12 Steps to achieving success Part II

Continuing with the steps we started with last week, we are looking at the 12 steps we can take to be winners:
4. The person, who is sure that they have been called by God to triumph, is someone who is NEVER discouraged. They understand that discouragement destroys their dreams, their goals, their purpose and destiny and that it brings nothing except depression.
In the Bible and even today we can see very influential people who in a moment of discouragement lost their perspective. Something incredible happens to these people who allow discouragement; it also delays the important agenda of God in their lives and in the lives of others.
Paradoxically, they punish themselves, because they lower their arms, they lose their impetus and desire, and they stop seeing results. Secondly, with inverted commas, they “punish the Lord.” I want to make it clear that this is in a figurative sense, because nobody punishes God. I am referring to the fact that a discouraged person doesn’t want to do their devotional, and so doesn’t pray, they don’t read, they don’t seek God, they don’t listen to his voice, and He is left waiting for them in their daily appointment.
We see it in Elijah, Jonah and many more who lost their high spiritual sensitivity all because of discouragement. To this list we can add the people who stop impacting with their living example, those who stop speaking a word from God, of encouragement, of life. When this happens how can they transmit life to others? it is incredible what discouragement is capable of.
Therefore, NEVER be discouraged, go forward and have success in your daily walk. Always keep yourself highly motivated and your expectations high.
5. Break your old ways of thinking, all your ghosts, fears, frustrations and memories, not only the sad ones, but also those that were traumatic in your past. Leave them there, because you can not use what you lived in the past as an excuse to hide your lack of productivity and life today.
A successful person understands, just as pastor Castellanos teaches in his book “Change your spiritual DNA: become an heir of the royal priesthood,” that this is what you have to do: renounce to patterns and styles of life from the past, from our parents, grandparents. These patterns of life that have taken root for years, should no longer be part of us today.
This was Gideon’s experience when God visited him. He was stuck in a frustrated way of thinking, full of complexes, low self-esteem and much more; that day with two words God detoxified his mind completely: “mighty warrior.” That was enough.
Such people don’t measure their motivation by the results, because they know that the external change they desire must first happen on the inside. Therefore in breaking the perspective of their past, the life of God and their house is built on the rock. Sand is easily swept away and that is how many people live, but the rocks are immovable, and that is how you should be in your convictions that God puts in your new DNA.
6. Their passion is non-negotiable, they burn within to fulfil their responsibility, they experience what Jeremiah talked about in Jeremiah 20:9, that he had an internal fire burning in his bones. In this generation we must live like that.
It is awful to see somebody passive, who life passes by and who doesn’t take action. The winners and those who triumph take action straightaway; the losers postpone their life.
Have this passion that burns and makes you do things you wouldn’t normally do. The Anointing is linked to an internal passion that doesn’t burn up, like the bush that Moses saw, and the Anointing is the supernatural power of God that is able to achieve things that are humanly impossible.
The people who live without passion will always be limited beings because they can not break the barriers in their minds and actions. That is why their results are sporadic, along with their commitment.
NEVER allow your passion to go out, and if it has gone out, you are still in time, this is your week and this is your day.
I’ll see you next time to continue with the next steps.
