Time to Grow

1 Timothy 1:3,4 (NIV)
As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God’s work—which is by faith.
We are beginning a year where we have challenges and ministry goals! We have been meeting with our team of 12 and the goals for this year are great.
We have finished our CONFERENCE THE POWER OF A DREAM! I know God spoke to us greatly. Let’s not put away those teachings, remember them and most of all apply them. As I read this portion of the Bible a couple of principles come to my heart.
1. TO TAKE CARE OF WHAT WAS GIVEN TO US. Are you a cell leader? Do you already have your team of 12? Are you part of one? Let’s take care of the vision that God has trusted us with to bring blessings to thousands of families is our nation.
2. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU LISTEN TO. As they say in MCI RADIO “You are what you hear”. When Adam and Eve sinned the first question that the Lord asked them was, “Who taught you that?” Our daily devotional will lead us to have discernment in what we hear and the decisions that we make.
3. TEACH AND PREACH IN A SIMPLE MANNER. It is exciting to preach, but even more so when our listeners understand the message that we are delivering. Prepare yourself with excellence to teach in your cell. Be the best and make sure your listeners understand your message, you don’t have to speak 2 hours, in 20 minutes you can deliver a great message.
I know that as a ministry we will live great things this New Year, thank you for being a part of the history makers of our nation!
